Above are some snippets of the painting I'm working on for Art|Everywhere . This painting is on a beastly four by eight foot sheet of birch plywood. I think it is coming together nicely. The transformative powers of creating art are a reason I love life and love living.
This year I am taking part in Art| Everywhere with my friend Ella Davies. She creates these whimsical, fantastical creatures. I have always admired her sense of color, her creativity, and the ease by which she executes her lines while drawing. We are working separately, but will come together to create the actual installation. I can't wait to see what she comes up with, and how it goes together with my pieces.
Today is Ella's 9th birthday. I can't wait to see what she's doing at the age of 10. Happy Birthday, Ella!

I see a city on it, with a population of different shapes and sizes; a mailbox and a street sign. I see a colorful city emerging from a dark blackground.
Wonderful job! I really don't know what your intentions were but that was my small interpretation of it. Regardless of what it is, I love it!
